Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras and Real Madrid Club de Futbol Icon Roberto Carlos da Silva was born In Garça (SP) on 10th April 1973. In a playing career which spanned 22 years from 1993 to 2015. Roberto Carlos made 593 appearances and scored 67 goals. Roberto Carlos made his senior debut playing for Palmeiras against Guarani FC on 4th September 1993. After scoring on his Brazil debut against U.S.A. In February 1992. he went on to make 132 appearances and score 11 goals for his country.

During his time with Real Madrid Club de Fütbol and Brazil, Roberto Carlos’ team lifted the Liga BBVA In 1997,2001, 2003 and 2007, the Confederations Cup in 1997. won the FIFA World Cup in 2002, the Campeonato Sudamericano Copa America in 1997 and 1999. the Intercontinental Cup in 1998 and 2002. the UEFA Champions League 3 times between 1998 and 2002. the UEFA Super Cup in 2002 and the Supercopa de Espana 3 times between 1997 and 2003.
After leaving Real Madrid In 2007, Roberto Carlos moved to Fenerbahçe. going on to make 65 appearances. Roberto Carlos Fenerbahçe team lifted the TFF Super Kupa In 2007. After leaving Fenerbahce In 2010. Roberto Carlos moved to Corinthians. going on to make 35 appearances.
After leaving Corinthians in 2011, Roberto Carlos moved to Anzhi Makhachkala where he made 25 appearances and scored 3 goals. Anzhi Makhachkala were also keen for Roberto Carlos to stay In football and offered him the role of player / assistant manager which he held until December 2011.
Roberto Carlos remained at Anzhi Makhachkala as a director after hanging up his boots in July 2012. Between July 2013 and July 2015. Roberto Carlos also had brief spells with Siva Spor Kulubü and Delhi Dynamos Football Club.
Roberto Carlos has also earned recognition from the footballlng community for his achievements: Named Spanish League Player of the Year runner-up. World Player of the Year third place and FIFA Ballon d’Or runner-up.
