Tottenham Hotspur FC Icon Jurgen Klinsmann was born in Goppingen on 30th July 1964. In a playing career which spanned 24 years from 1980 to 2004. Klinsmann made 506 appearances and scored 226 goals. After scoring on his Germany debut against Brazil In December1987, he went on to make 108 appearances and score 47 goals for his country. Klinsmann’s Team USA team lifted the Confederations Cup Playoff in 2015.

Jurgen Klinsmann started his career at SV Stuttgarter Kickers in July1980, breaking into the first-team in 1981 and making a total of 61 league appearances and scoring 22 goals for the dub. After leaving Stuttgarter Kickers in July1984. Klinsmann moved to Stuttgart, going on to make 156 appearances.

After leaving Stuttgart in July1989, Klinsmann moved to lnternazionale, going on to make 95 appearances. During his time with Germany and Football Club lnternazionale Milano, Klinsmann’s team lifted the FIFA World Cup in 1990. the UEFA Europe League In 1991 and won the Supercoppa TiM In 1989. After leaving Internazionale In July1992, Klinsmann moved to AS Monaco. going on to make 65 appearances. After leaving AS Monaco In July1994, Klinsmann moved to Tottenham, going on to make 41 appearances. After leaving Tottenham in July1995, Klinsmann moved to Bayern. going on to make 65 appearances. During his time with FC Bayern Munchen and Germany. Klinsmann’s team lifted the Bundesliga In 1997, the UEFA European Championship in 1996 and won the UEFA Europa League in 1996.

After leaving Bayern in July1997. Klinsmann moved to UC Sampdoria where he made 8 appearances and scored 2 goals. Klinsmann moved back to Totlenham In January 1998 but he stayed only briefly, making a further 15 appearances and scoring 9 goals.

Klinsmann finally hung up his boots at the age at 40 in June 2004 after a spell at Orange County Blue Star. His first venture into management was with Germany where he was appointed in July2004.

A break from football lasting 2 years then followed with Klinsmann's next role as manager at Bayem beginning in July 2008. A break from football lasting 20 months then followed with Klinsmann’s next role as director of football at Toronto FC beginning In January 2011.

Klinsmann then moved on to become manager at U.S.A.. Klinsmann’s Team USA team lifted the Confederations Cup Playoff In 2015.

Klinsmann has been recognised for his talent and achievements with several awards: Named German Footballer of the Year on two occasions, German Bundesliga Top Goalscorer, Ligue 1 Top Goalscorer third place, won the English Footballer of the Year, FIFA Ballon d’Or runner-up, World Player of the Year third place. European Championship Golden Boot runner-up and won the German Manager of the Year.
